On November 4 2025, New York City will hold its next mayoral election. The frontrunner is Zohran Mamdani, a progressive Democrat campaigning on promises to make public transit free, expand affordable housing, reform the police, and raise taxes on the city’s largest corporations.

His challengers include incumbent Mayor Eric Adams, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Curtis Sliwa, founder of the nonprofit Guardian Angels.

The market will resolve in favor of the candidate who is officially certified as the winner of the 2025 New York City mayoral election. If any other individual wins, all listed options will settle as NO.

Data source: Official results published on the New York City Board of Elections website (vote.nyc). If needed, the outcome may be corroborated by the certified tally released by the New York State Secretary of State and by reports from reputable news outlets such as the Associated Press and The New York Times.
