Rules
The Bank of England sets the Bank Rate, a key benchmark for monetary policy and financial markets. Decisions to change it are made by the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) at scheduled meetings and, when necessary, at unscheduled meetings.
The market will resolve to YES if the official Bank Rate is reduced at least once during the period from 00:01 ET on August 20, 2025 through 23:59 ET on December 31, 2025, relative to the level in effect immediately before the cut; both scheduled and unscheduled MPC decisions qualify.
