The European Central Bank (ECB) sets key interest rates, including the deposit facility rate, which determines the overnight return on excess bank liquidity. A change in this rate is an important signal of monetary policy in the euro area and influences financial markets.

The market will resolve to YES if the officially set value of the ECB deposit facility rate is reduced at least once during the period from 00:01 ET on August 20, 2025 to 23:59 ET on December 31, 2025.
