The United States already has a broad legislative framework in place for adding Bitcoin to the nation’s reserves. Nevertheless, completing this initiative still requires further legally binding action from Congress and the federal government.

The market will resolve to YES if, by 23:59 UTC on 31 December 2025, the U.S. federal government officially holds any amount of Bitcoin in its reserves. US government confiscating Bitcoin does not count as holding Bitcoin reserves.
