Will Trump tighten sanctions on Russia before June 2025?

The market will resolve as “Yes” if, on or before May 31, 2025 (23:59 UTC), an official document, statement, or directive is published by the President of the United States, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, or another authorized agency confirming either:

– the imposition of new sanctions against the Russian Federation, or

– the expansion of existing sanctions (including the addition of new individuals, sectors, or restrictions).

If no such confirmation is issued by the deadline, the market will resolve as “No.”
